The first phase of the project was completed in the first half of 2023, with a total capacity of 134.2 kilowatts maximum, to produce 250-megawatt hours of electrical energy annually, which contributes to saving approximately 400,000 pounds in electricity bills for the facility, which represents a saving of about 70% of the bill… The second phase of the project will also be completed with a maximum capacity of 66 kilowatts during the first half of 2024, to increase the energy produced from the solar power plant by 125-megawatt hours, bringing the total energy produced to 375 megawatt hours annually, which is enough to provide 100% of the facility’s electrical energy bill.
